The resource is a powerful document that contains 365 “power words” for you to store in your drive for when you feel your writing is cringeworthy and you need some absolute, psychological launch words.
How to get your kickass blog post writing power words
This free, swoon-worthy document is a spreadsheet that can be downloaded once you hand over your email address to SumoMe – a common, savage, and menacing approach that many companies use when sharing seductive and unexpected content.
Here is a sample of the list which you can download from SumoMe here.
Using power words when blogging
If you’ve read my article, 3 powerful reasons for using odd-numbered lists in your blog post titles, you will know that I advocate using an interesting adjective in blog post titles.
This is one way the power word list can be helpful; it has a collection of adjectives that have been noted as having interest-grabbing power.
Please don’t use the list like I used it in this article’s title and opening paragraphs (I have italicised the words that I’ve used from the list), but consider it as “seasoning” for the blog post writing you are undertaking.
You will get an email from SumoMe if you download the list, inviting you to add some of their freemium plugins to your website to help with grabbing attention and boosting conversion. Freemium means you get to use the plugins for free but you are encouraged to upgrade them to paid versions to get more functionality. My thoughts are that is you have a webmaster you are working with, Baker Marketing or your own webmaster, please get their advice over which of the plugins you choose to use, if any.
Then, I hope that as you read through the power word list, it will ignite and transform your kickass blog post writing without sabotaging your awe-inspiring and bona-fide reputation overnight.
